Wedding Tuition
A student who was in Inverness on holiday made these flowers. She had never done icing before but wanted to do the decoration for her daughter's wedding cake.

This photo was taken for reference purposes. When she returned to England and put the finishing touches on the cake she could then refer to the photograph to see how the flowers should be placed.

Her daughter didn't want any colour in the bouquets so we used two-tone ivy leaves to give variety and depth. Not bad for a beginner - don't you think?

This four tier cake was discussed over the phone. My student came for instruction in making Calla Lilies and when she had finished she brought the wedding cakes, flowers and foliage with her (100 miles).

It took 5 hours to wire up the sprays and then decide on a matching side design that would compliment the bouquets. I was given this photograph to show the finished article on the day. Impressive !
